The Shelter Island Fire District hosted its annual Steak Dinner at the Heights firehouse on Saturday for an SRO crowd of appreciative diners. Slaving away in the kitchen were chefs Jamie Cogan, Earl Reiter and Brian Lechmanski. Fedi’s reported that 250 New York strip steaks were ordered for the occasion.
