Family folk music concert in Volunteer Park tonight

The first of a series of three free family concerts will be held on at 6 p.m. tonight in the gazebo at the Bridge Street Volunteer Park.

Edith Gawler and Bennett Konesni are the guests and will perform old-time Appalachian music, English farm ballads and Scandinavian fiddle tunes.

Bring a lawn chair and a picnic to enjoy the music and the view over Dering Harbor.
