To the Editor:
Only 15 months and one budget cycle after Governor Cuomo signed the tax cap law in June 2011, the town is contemplating a resolution to circumvent the 2-percent cap on annual tax increases.
If little Shelter Island is not capable of recognizing that living within your means entails doing without, what is to become of our once great republic?
