Correction to print edition: wrong name in storm 'rescue' story

SHERRI SUROZENSKI PHOTO | David Lingwood drives his truck through the flood at the South Ferry slips Monday afternoon carrying first responders and a patient bound for Southampton Hospital. She was transferred to a Sag Harbor ambulance on the other side. (See separate post for details.)

The Reporter erred in its November 1 print edition in naming the driver of the 4-wheel truck used to transport a patient onto South Ferry during the height of Hurricane Sandy on Monday afternoon, October 29. It was David Lingwood who provided and drove the truck aboard the ferry, not David Doody. We sincerely regret the error.
