Shelter Island Fire Department ever ready

What looked like a fire last night at Shelter Island School was just a combination of Mother Nature and the Shelter Island Fire Department working together.

The dense fog made it look like smoke was coming from the school as Shelter Island’s bravest were conducting a ladder training drill.
