An Island rainbow for the longest day
Ellen Jaffe sent us this photo of a rainbow arching over Shelter Island last evening to mark the summer solstice.
Ms. Jaffe, who captured the spectacular image, shooting it from Widow’s Hole at the end of 4th Street in Greenport, said she had “the good fortune” to witness the beautiful event.
And was kind enough to share it with all of us.
