Young golfers prep to tee off
Winners all from a previous Shelter Island Country Club Junior Golf Open Tournament. This year’s tournament is slated for Wednesday, August 19, with the first tee time at 10 a.m.
The Shelter Island Country Club is gearing up for its annual Junior Golf Open Tournament featuring young golfers of all ages on Wednesday, August 19.The young golfers, who will be separated into groups by age, will qualify for a raft of prizes and all will enjoy a free barbecue following the nine hole competition, according to club golf pro Scott Lechmanski.
The first tee time is 10 a.m.
