Our streak of high, bright blue skies and dry weather might be coming to an end.

The National Weather Service forecasters are calling for some lingering showers this morning and then a slight chance of showers after noon.

The rest of the day, the NWS predicts, will be  mostly cloudy, with a high near 70 and calm winds of five to 9 mph.
