MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7

Cardboard Campout, Shelter Island National Honor Society members and friends in grades 10 to 12 camp in cardboard boxes at the school to raise money and awareness for Habitat for Humanity. 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Donations for Habitat and goodies for campers welcome.

Election eve ham dinner, an annual community event with side-by-side seating at long tables for food and conversation. Parish Hall of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
