Shelter Island signs of peace

The Session of Shelter Island Presbyterian Church recently voted to put up (see above) these ‘Let’s Be Neighbors’ banners on the front lawn of the church building as a tangible sign of welcome in these divisive and difficult times.

‘We hope they will be a reminder to all of us that we are called to be neighbors to one another,’ said Reverend Stephen Fearing.
