Weather Service: Bright and sunny today

Another bright, sun-filled summer day is in store for Shelter Island, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The high temperature for Tuesday will be 84 with a light, southwest wind from 6 to 11 mph.

Tonight, the NWS is calling for a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight, with a low around 66.
