Weather Service: A sunny day in store for Shelter Island
Tuesday will be a partly sunny day on Shelter Island, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The high temperature is expected to reach 79 degrees with calm winds this morning from the northeast at 5 to 8 mph.
Tonight there’s a chance of showers, according to the NWS, between 10 p.m. and midnight and then scattered showers and thunderstorms after midnight.
