Island’s Christmas season kicks off with North Pole visitors

The Shelter Island Historical Society hosted its Havens Holiday Open House, Art Show and Santa’s Workshop on Sunday.

Guests had an opportunity to have a  photo taken with Santa and Ms. Claus and enjoyed  craft making. STARs Cafe provided refreshments and hot chocolate. Admission was free, and unwrapped toys for children in need were collected. See below for more of Eleanor’s photos of the happy day.
