Say hello to Sylvester Manor Educational Farm’s two newest residents — twin baby goats — who were born there last week.

The two little ‘does’ or ‘nannies’, which is what female goats are called, came into the world last Monday morning on President’s Day. (more…)

Celebrate the season of generosity by making a donation to the Giving Tree.

Located inside the Havens Barn at the Historical Society, the Giving Tree presents an opportunity to donate to those in need. For the third year in a row, the Society is teaming up with the Retreat, an East Hampton organization that provides domestic violence services and education on the East End of Long Island. (more…)

Sylvester Manor’s history and ghost stories will converge this Halloween for its Mysteries of the Manor tour.

On Saturday, October 31 from 1 to 4 p.m., the Manor will host ghost tours and take visitors on a haunted hayride of the farm. Sylvester Manor has more than just rumors of ghosts, they have actual documentation of ghostly occurrences dating back hundreds of years. (more…)
