Close to 20 Ram Island residents got answers to some of their concerns on Wednesday about projected Ram’s Head Inn renovations. The two-hour informational meeting included Michael Donovan, a principal of the Easton Porter Group that is contemplating purchasing the property.

UPDATE: The Ram’s Head Inn application has been pulled from the Planning Board agenda for tonight, Tuesday, August 14.

The Planning Board has the Ram’s Head Inn renovation proposal on its docket for Tuesday night’s meeting, but it won’t be a free-for-all when it comes to public comment. (more…)

To the Editor:
I read with interest the story “Safer biking?” in the July 5 Reporter.

It contained a thorough discussion of a number of options, and not ones I was entirely aware were pending. Some years ago I participated as Town Engineer in a survey at the county/state level in which thoughts were solicited concerning bicycling strategies here, but I was unaware that options had progressed this far.
