It may not be on a par with bird migration or a stag in rut, but the pull on humans to clean up, throw out and reckon with winter’s misdeeds becomes nearly irresistible around about the vernal equinox.

Councilwoman and Deputy Supervisor Chris Lewis said Wednesday morning that she is moving toward supporting short-term rental legislation with minimum stay requirements, including the number of times a homeowner can rent their property for three days or less between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
