CYO girls celebrate a successful season


Island 5th- and 6th-grade girls playing for Our Lady of the Islemade it to the CYO playoffs this year with a 7-5 league record (andan unofficial record of 8-5). That’s “quite an accomplishment, asthis is their first year as a team, Coach John Kaasik said. Theteam would like to thank Our Lady of the Isle and Father PeterDeSanctis “for all of his support and cheering us on at so manygames and practices, the coach added.
