Islanders are invited to comment on issues that have been inrecent headlines as the Town Board conducts public hearings duringits regular meeting on Friday, January 22, beginning at 4:30 p.m.including the following:

Real estate signs. The board is considering amending the code toallow commercial real estate signs. The proposed law would restrictthe size of signs but not their content.

Causeway house demolition. A wetlands permit application isbeing sought by Alex Zagoreos to demolish his house on Ram IslandDrive.
