Mabel Randall


Mabel J. Randall of 52 Vail Drive, Franklin, Maine passed away at her home on January 8, 2010 as a result of Parkinson’s disease. A former resident of Shelter Island and Staten Island, she was the wife of Richard F. Randall, with whom she recently celebrated 59 years of marriage.


Mabel was active in the communities she lived in all of her life, volunteering at hospitals, schools and for different charitable organizations over the years. Until her move to Franklin in 2008, Mabel was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Greenport.


In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Marie and husband Alan Dickson; brother-in-law John Randall of New Hampshire; grandchildren Jennifer, Travis and Amy, all of Massachusetts; and her great-grandchildren Dylan and Elizabelle. Her beloved daughter Jeanne died in 2005.
