Drake named Island’s ‘Top Cop’

Shelter Island Town Police Officer Christopher Drake, left, was given his department’s Officer of the Year award by Detective Sergeant Jack Thilberg during the annual event to honor East End officers at the Vineyard Caterers in Aquebogue on Friday, January 21. Detective Sergeant Thilberg said that Officer Drake leads the department in DWI arrests and traffic enforcement and “is truly an employee who comes to work to go to work.”
