Photos: Halloween — Shelter Island style

A stormy Halloween didn’t dampen the spirits of the ghouls, princesses, cowboys, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and their friends who paraded through Center, ate hot dogs and macaroni and cheese at the firehouse, then went trick or treating on Smith Street.

The two youngest members of the gang slept through the whole event. There was shaving cream and silly string and glow lights. And lots of candy.
