Found funds for the Fire Department

Fire Chief Will Anderson, above left, received a check Friday at the Center firehouse for $5,700 from Jolyon Fox Stern, CEO of Dewitt Stern Insurance.

The check was a grant from Fireman’s Fund Insurance. Chief Anderson said the money will go for public education, including literature and paying off equipment used in demonstrations for the public on fire safety.
