The joys of winter
Our friend Don Bindler was out hunting — with his camera — last week and bagged this visitor.
In a note to the Reporter, Don wrote, “The encroaching ice on ponds and bays forces local water fowl to look for patches of open water in order to feed. This often makes them easier to see and photograph, such as this beautiful hooded merganser feeding with a small flock in a canal in Silver Beach.”
