There were no surprises Tuesday night as voters returned Andy Reeve to the Shelter Island Fire District Board of Commissioners. Running unopposed, he received 27 votes with no write-in votes cast.

Mr. Reeve was appointed to the Board in the spring of 2012 after Ron Jernick resigned. He was elected at the end of that year to finish out Mr. Jernick’s term and was seeking a full five-year term.
