New York Avenue closed for tree removal
New York Avenue is closed today, Monday, as work continues to remove the remnants of two rotted trees.PSEG sent a crew in at the beginning of the month to remove limbs that were intertwined with electrical wires and then the Heights Property Owners Corporation hired a private arborist this week to take down what remains of the trees.
Weather permitting, the work should be completed in a single day, according to HPOC General Manager Stella Lagudis.
