September morning light
A repeat of Monday’s beautiful weather is on tap for Shelter Island today, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS is calling for a bright, sunny day with a high near 78 degrees, and light westerly winds turning to the southwest later this morning at about 6 to 11 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear, according to the NWS, with a southwest wind around 9 mph.
