Monday is rain day on Shelter Island

The National Weather Service is calling for a rainy day on Shelter Island.

Temperatures should reach near 50 degrees with a south wind varying between 7 and 14 mph. The NWS forecasts that precipitation will be less than a tenth of an inch.

Skies will clear tonight, with a low around 35 degrees, according to the NWS, with the winds shifting around to the northwest at 10 to 13 mph.
