Bright bird for a cloudy morning

Our friend Don Bindler sent us these stunning hummingbird photos that he took in his backyard in Silver Beach.

Don wrote: “As summer winds down, hummingbirds, both adults and new fledglings, are feeding more actively in our gardens. They are building up strength and body mass in preparation for their long migration south, which will begin next month.”
