No one picked up on our slightly cryptic photo from last week (see below). But if you take just a little time, it all becomes clear.
As Mark Kanarvogel, a member of the Shelter Island Emergency Medical Services, who submitted the photo, explained, “It’s on the back of some of our clothing and stands for, “24/7 emergency medical service over the water equals Shelter Island Emergency Medical Services. We have to cross the water for every transport.”
