Weather Service: Chilly spring day in store for Shelter Island
The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting a bright, chilly spring day for Shelter Island.
There will be sun all day with a high temperature of 43 degrees, but a northeast wind at 10 to 15 mph will make it feel between 15 and 25 degrees.
Tonight will remain clear, according to the NWS, with a low around 27 and wind chill values of 20 to 25 degrees. The wind will stay out of the northeast at around 14 mph.
