School budget, Board of Ed voting set for tomorrow
Polls open at noon and remain open until 9 p.m., Tuesday at the Shelter Island School gymnasium for voting on the budget for the 2019-20 school term.
The proposed $11.9 million budget doesn’t pierce the state-imposed tax cap and requires $10.55 million from tax receipts with the balance coming from state aid and money in the district’s fund balance account.
