Weather service: Cloudy skies for Tuesday
The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for cloudy skies on Shelter Island for Tuesday, the first day of October.
The high temperature will be 74 degrees and the wind will be from the southwest at 8 to 14 mph.
It will remain cloudy tonight, according the NWS, with a low around 60 and the wind staying out of the southwest at about 14 mph.
