Crossing the finish line at the Oct. 19 running of the Shelter Island 5K are Marleigh, left, and Devon Hawes, with Benjamin. Marleigh is the granddaughter of legendary EMS volunteer Ben Jones, and Benjamin is the namesake of his great-grandfather.
