To the Editor:
Now that I am nearly recovered and getting around with my walker, I take my pen to thank all the persons who took such good care of me and called the Shelter Island Police Department and the Emergency Medical Services when I fell near the North Ferry office over three months ago. (more…)

SHELTER ISLAND SCHOOL PHOTOS
The Decency bags will be gifted to The Retreat in East Hampton.

On Monday, December 3, Shelter Island School students filled “Decency Bags” to promote Decency, a school outreach program and grass-roots movement dedicated to inspiring the concept of decency in everyday life — in both conversations and actions, established in late 2017.

On December 4, 2017, Decency, a new school outreach program, began a partnership with Shelter Island School District. The program is a grass-roots movement dedicated to inspiring the concept of decency in everyday life — in both conversations and actions.
