After ten innings of baseball Saturday evening at Fiske Field, the Southampton Breakers found themselves dogpiling and hoisting a trophy as the 2014 Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League Champions.
The one seed Breakers downed the Shelter Island Bucks 7-5 in game two of the best of three series to win the championship. The win was the 10th in a row for Southampton. (more…)

After winning their first two games out of the All-Star break, the Shelter Island Bucks are in good shape going forward with their 16-14 record. The Bucks are currently in third place in the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League and just a game out of first. The top four teams will go to the to the playoffs. (more…)

Saturday night the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League hosted its annual All-Star Game at the home of the North Fork Osprey’s in Peconic. The North team, consisting of players from the Osprey’s, Riverhead Tomcats and Shelter Island Bucks, won 7-2 over the South Team. (more…)

This past weekend the Shelter Island Bucks played their 20th game of the season, marking the halfway point of their Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League season. The 11-11 Bucks are currently tied for fourth in the standings, two games out of first place in the league where the top four teams make the playoffs. (more…)
