It’s the best kept secret on the Island. That’s how I felt after my first Dinner Bell luncheon at the Presbyterian Church last Friday.
The program is funded by SCOFA (Suffolk County Office for the Aging), NYSOFA (New York State Office for the Aging) and the Town of Shelter Island. It is managed by Karin Bennett, who prepares the meals with help from her staff, Diane Anderson and Angela Corbett. They are assisted by a host of volunteers. (more…)
