In reviewing the voting record of Congressman Lee Zeldin, let us not forget that he is one of the co-sponsors of the H.R. 38 bill.
It is also known as the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 that authorizes someone who holds a concealed carry permit issued in one state to carry a concealed firearm in any state that also authorizes the carrying of a firearm. (more…)

The Shelter Island Police Department, leading an investigation assisted by multiple law enforcement agencies, arrested a Bronx man at his home Monday night on felony drug charges.
Fred J. Conforto, 41, was taken into custody and brought to the Island where he was arraigned in Shelter Island Justice Court.
He was charged with three counts of the criminal sale of controlled substances and was then remanded to the Suffolk County Correction Facility in Riverside. (more…)
