There was a sharp difference in tone Wednesday night — less frustration and rancor than previously —  but the message was the same to builders of a house at Ram Island Drive: There are to be no further changes in construction without first clearing them with the Zoning Board of Appeals. (more…)

The Heights Property Owners Corporation got a slap on the wrist Wednesday night for its handling of an application in May to which it originally objected and then reversed itself. (more…)

Shelter Island Zoning Board of Appeals members had few questions for advocates of two applications — one to build a garage on land on Peconic Avenue and the other to install air conditioning for a residence in the Heights. (more…)

Alexander Lemond of 94 Gardiners Bay Drive has a decision to make — either hire a sound engineer to develop a plan to mask noise from a generator or move the generator. (more…)
