Terry Kent, a fundraiser from Ithaca, New York, was the winner of the men’s division of stand up paddleboard in the 2nd annual Great Peconic Race Sunday.

Mr. Kent came into Wades Beach to cheers from the crowd a little before 1 p.m. today,  three hours and 50 minutes after leaving the beach for the  19.5 circumnavigation of Shelter Island.
