The Town Board began budget meetings with department chiefs and committee leaders Wednesday.

The meetings are scheduled to continue on Thursday, October 5, and Friday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 18, according to a schedule released by Supervisor Jim Dougherty. (more…)

Sparked by a resident’s complaint about an RV-sized massage business parked on Shore Road, the Town Board at its Tuesday work session discussed controlling commercial uses at town beaches.

Amy DiBenedetto said that Bonheur Supreme Spa, which operates out of the RV and caters mainly to Sunset Beach patrons, parks in front of her house, sometimes for days at a time. (more…)
