Mashomack Craft Day,  (Ages 6+) 3 p.m. Library-sponsored crafts in Mashomack. This month’s themes are bees and owls.

FRIDAY, JULY 31

Tails & Tales,  4:15 p.m., Reading to a therapy dog, at the library. Ages 6+. Adult must accompany children under 10.

Mashomack Summer Cocktail Party,  4 to 6 p.m. Manor House Lawn, 47 South Ferry Road. Free. Cold beverages & nibbles.

Shipwrecked with Shakespeare,  6:30 p.m. 63 South Menantic Road. Free, all proceeds to benefit Shakespeare programs at Sylvester Manor.

FRIDAY, JULY 24

Author Reading and Book Signing,  4 p.m. St. Mary’s. Novelist Victoria Shorr, presented by the Library’s Friday Night Dialogues.

Shakespeare at the Manor,  6 p.m. Twelfth Night. Tickets $40 at sylvestermanor.org

Works in Progress,  7 p.m., Perlman Music Program students perform free concerts in the tent.

SATURDAY, JULY 25

Havens Farmers Market,  9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Fresh foods, flowers, crafts, music on the grounds of the History Museum. Free entry, no pets.

Repair Cafe,  10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Library  – volunteers will repair lamps, other items.

Shakespeare at the Manor,  6 p.m. Twelfth Night. Tickets $40 at sylvestermanor.org

Works in Progress,  7 p.m., Perlman Music Program students perform free concerts in the tent.

Rocking for the Rock,  6 – 10:30 p.m., Gardiner’s Bay Country Club, with support from Shelter Island Yacht Club to benefit Island causes through the Lions Foundation. Cocktails, dinner, live classic rock band. Jeans welcome. Call 631-749-5956 to purchase tickets.

SUNDAY, JULY 26

Shakespeare Fair at the Manor Windmill,  11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Family fun. 21 Manwaring Road. Tickets $8 or $20 for a family, up to 4 tickets. 

MONDAY, JULY 27

CAST Food Van,  2 – 6 p.m., 61 Cobbetts Lane.

FRIDAY, JULY 31

Defensive Driving Course,  10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sign up at the library. Course at the Senior Center. $35.
