Fluorescent Fungi Hike,  6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Meet at Mashomack Manor House, 47 South Ferry Road. You’ll get a UV flashlight to xplore the Green Trail and discover glowing mushrooms.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10

Stewardship Saturday,  10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Mashomack. Volunteer for trail and habitat stewardship, including  vine cutting and other conservation projects. Hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided. Register at preserve.nature.org/page/201642/event/1

Volunteer Harvest Day,  10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., Sylvester Manor Windmill Field. Bring kneepads and gloves to dig up sweet potatoes.
