ENDLESS SUMMER COCKTAIL
Sunset Beach Hotel will host an Endless Summer cocktail party on Friday, June 23 in support of the 60th annual Shelter Island Fireworks.
The party runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and includes an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, music and raffles. Tickets are $75 in advance at shelterislandfireworks.com or $100 at the door. The annual fireworks show is 100 percent donor supported. (more…)

For Sag Harbor’s Duncan Darrow, that problem was cancer and it arose in 2002 when his mother learned she had been diagnosed with the lung variety, probably metastatic, and they should prepare for a tough road ahead. (more…)
