Mystery photo tucked in donated book

Shelter Island Library Director Denise DiPaolo found the photo (above) when someone dropped off used books to the library last week.

She said “they may not have noticed that inside the copy of a copy of Gore Vidal’s Burr was this photo.  There are no markings or writing on the photo, but I’m sure it’s special to someone.”
