Spring storm delays school opening Monday

The Shelter Island School announced at 7 p.m. Sunday that there would be a two-hour delayed opening on Monday, March 21 due to the impending storm.

Classes will begin at 10 a.m.

For those students who take the bus to school, school officials said they should be at their bus stop two hours later than the usual pick up time.

For the Pre-K students who join kindergarten students each day, school is canceled.
