Fall concert this weekend at Sylvester Manor
Sylvester Manor will offer a fun, musical afternoon outdoors on Saturday, Oct. 10, with a special double-bill concert featuring Gene Casey & the Lone Sharks, Long Island’s legendary roots rock & roll band and The Hoodoo Loungers, the local high-energy New Orleans-inspired dance band. This community event on the Manor grounds is more than just a day of music — it’s also a co-fundraiser supporting the Shelter Island Fire Department as well as Sylvester Manor.
A portion of all ticket sales from the event will go directly toward supporting the vital work of Shelter Island’s local firefighters. In addition, a 50/50 raffle will be held during the event, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the department.

Gates open at 1:30 p.m. for the concert, which begins at 2 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the music and the beauty of fall at Sylvester Manor, 80 North Ferry Road.
Tickets are $40; admission is free for children under 10. To purchase, visit sylvestermanor.org/event/fall-concert/
Wine and beer will be available for purchase to those 21 and over. The Sylvester Manor Farmstand on Manwaring Road is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the day of the concert for snacks and farm-fresh treats.
