The Shelter Island Historical Society presents Santa’s Workshop in the Barn on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Shelter Island History Center.
The PTSA Holiday Boutique is where students shop for family members and volunteers wrap gifts. It is currently accepting donations of new and used items. Especially needed are gifts for dads, grandpas, uncles and brothers. Gift wrapping supplies are also needed. Donations can be dropped off in the Shelter Island School lobby through Tuesday, Dec. 10. Kids can send letters to Santa via the Shelter Island Recreation Department.
Children can communicate with Santa Claus and his elves thanks to the team at Shelter Island Recreation (SIR).
Shelter Island Recreation and the Shelter Island Library present a haunted house at the library on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
TAYLOR’S ISLAND EXHIBIT CLOSING
A closing reception for the Plein Air Art Exhibit featuring Taylor’s Island will take place on Friday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Shelter Island Town Hall meeting room. Light beverages and snacks will be served.
