Scenes from the 10K weekend

At least one record was broken for the 2015 Shelter Island 10K run Saturday, but it wasn’t by any athlete on the course.

Mother Nature broke her streak of 35 consecutive races without rain, when the day was one of light drizzle to steady downpour.

The runners and spectators cheering them on, however, were filled with sunny enthusiasm.
