Island woman charged with drunk driving

Shelter Island Police arrested an island woman on a drunk driving charge early Sunday morning.

Christine Wagner, 52, was charged at 12:46 a.m.after she was pulled over on Shore Road for failing to keep right and failing to keep in the lane, police said.

She was released on $500 bail and is to return to court on Monday, according to police.
