Calm before the storm

Eric Hecker, a self described “Island weekender” was out for a walk with his family on Shell Beach yesterday when a paddleboard cruised by — a perfect picture of serenity, which he captured.

“I hollered at him to tell me his cell so that I could text him this great pic,” Mr. Hecker wrote to us.

“He responded: ‘My phone is so old it doesn’t do pictures.  Just send it to the Reporter.’”

And so he did.
